Happy Friday Folks!

It is Friday and I am a happy girl. I always look forward to weekends when Rick is home and we can all spend time together and go out. We had a good but busy week. One of Rick's friends had their baby, Gracie had baseball practice and I had to take her for her 5 year old checkup. ( We will talk about that on another post...the visit didn't go as planned and I am waiting for more info before I tell you all about it.)

Here are a few pics from our week.

Gracie and her buddy Carley after Baseball practice.

Mommy and Daughter play dough date.

Gabriel found Gracie's buckets...that boy loves to climb into things.

Brother and Sister bonding makes a mama's heart happy.

Me after a long and busy day. I love being able to relax in bed at night. :-)

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend. Any fun plans??

Weekly Wishes 6

I was super busy last week and I am looking forward to a calm one this coming week.

Last Week's Wishes

1. Clean out my Kitchen cabinets. The food has gotten totally unorganized and I must get that back to my OCD ways ASAP. I didn't clean out ALL of my kitchen cabinets, but I did do a few. I need to finish that this week.
2. Get Packed for the Beach. I of course got this done because we did go to the beach and had a blast and visited my family.
3. TOMORROW IS MY BIRTHDAY! SO I AM GOING TO SIT AT HOME AND ENJOY THE FAMILY :-) We had a nice evening at home and even went outside with the kids and practiced ball with Gracie. My mom even came over and gave me a birthday kiss and played baseball with us.
4. Run 5 miles. I actually ran 6. YAY.
5. Get the Oil changed in the car. DONE
6. Do at least 100 squats and crunches each.  The one thing I am pretty sure I didn't do. I did a few of each but I am not sure if I did 100.

This Week's Wishes
1. Take Gracie to get her 5 year old checkup and shots for school.
2. Run 6 miles.
3. Finish cleaning out my Kitchen cabinets.
4. Paint my nails.
5. Go to a friend's little one's First Birthday Party
6. Pray with Rick and my kids every night. I really want to start making this a habit and praying over our family.

A Bright Sunshiny Day!

Today..We had a beautiful day of weather here in NC. We had a birthday party to attend at the park and boy was it a perfect day to be outdoors. A blast was had by every single person!

I was even able to snap some pictures of my mom and Gabriel together on the swing....I am so happy about that because my mom HATES pictures! I only took one of Gracie because she was literally ALL over the entire park playing. We spent several hours at the party, then came home, rested for a bit, went and visited a couple family members then came home and cooked an amazing dinner. I couldn't be more thankful for our weekends when we get out together and have ALL day to enjoy one another.

Look at that priceless picture :-)

Enjoying his cousins car :-)

Gracie was exhausted...can you tell? :-)

LOVE this one!

How was your Saturday?

Goodbye 2013. Hello 2014

I can honestly say I had an amazing year. 2013 was very good to me and my family. My family is still here, they are all safe, healthy, and happy and that is all that I am asking for in 2014. Family is so important to me. My baby boy was born this year, we paid off a couple credit cards, dug ourself out of a little debt, and was blessed with wonderful family that continues to support us.

I welcome 2014 with open arms in hopes to be a better person, including wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend...everything.

Here's a look back at our amazing year

Favorite Places We Like To Stuff Our Face

If you know me, you know I love to eat. Love. To. Eat. Like seriously. It is really not a good thing, which is why I am taking the V3 and it has totally helped me and all my unnecessary eating habits. I wanted to tell you a few of my favorite places to eat at and why. Restaurants are a big deal to me because we normally go out to eat once a week, usually on a Saturday night, and we always love hearing of new places. These four are my favorite.

1. I love Chilis. I love their atmosphere and their food. As odd as it sounds, my favorite thing they have  is the corn. I just love it. The spices all over it are SO yummy! The chicken crispers and chocolate molten cake are a must have too....AH. I can feel the pounds adding on as I think about it.

2. Applebee's. This is such a great place. Rick and I have going here since I was a kid. We have a relationship with their hot wings. OH. MY. Best Ever.

3. Cracker Barrel is the most country, home cooked food you will find in a restaurant. They have SO many amazing dishes, from their dumplings to their biscuits. I could eat here every day....and also be 500 pounds....cooked with butter and made with love. :-) Their shopping store attached is super cool too! I have bought SO many Christmas gifts for family. The products are really unique.

4. Rick and I were turned on to Wild Wing Cafe by Joni. She knew we loved wings as much as she did, and of course once we checked it out we quickly made it a favorite. Rick so loves the style and setup too, everything is sports and TVs are up in every area you look.

These are my favorite places to go out to eat with family and friends what is yours?
