Yesterday I woke up to a text from Joni over at Six Cherries saying she was going to come visit me! What a wonderful surprise because Monday was a super rough day and I was thrilled to have her come over because it has literally been months since we got together...which totally sucks because we live 30 minutes apart. Life keeps us so busy and days turn into months, which doesn't need to happen anymore. We must make time for each other!
We seriously had such a fun time! Joni came loaded with goodies...she said guess what? Today we are baking cookies! And we did and it was FUN.We baked four batches of all kinds of homemade goodies and they were amazing.
We chatted while the kids played and when we were done baking Elijah and Gracie each were able to make their own snowglobe. They enjoyed it SO much. Gracie carried it around all night and talked about how much she missed Elijah...She even kissed him on the cheek..Her dad would flip if he knew.
Tonight we will have another fun time because we are going to a HUGE church festival in Raleigh. We are all so excited. Pictures to come tomorrow! For now enjoy the ones from yesterday.

Friends and Fun :-)
We had a great start to our Memorial Day weekend, we went out with some great friends. It was a much needed night out and we enjoyed it. Gracie and Elijah had a ball together and the adults had fun conversation. We went out to Chilli's, one of my favorite places to get some yummy food. The babies really enjoyed their food too :-) We will have to make this a tradition to go out so Gracie and Elijah can play together more! Hope everyone enjoys their nice long weekend, I know we will.

Gracies FIRST Birthday Party!

My Babygirl turned one on March 25. She had the most amazing birthday and I am so thankful to everyone who came and made it a success. It was so much fun. My little cupcake, Gracie, is obsessed with this Moose, from NickJr., above, and luckily my best friend's stepmother makes cakes, she did a WONDERFUL job, we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful cake. It was sure yummy too! Gracie had not taken a nap any that day and she was a bit cranky at times, some of the pictures we took really crack me up because my lil cupcake had such an active, fun filled, chocolate cake day, she just decided, "HEY! IT'S MY PARTY AND I CAN CRY IF I WANT TO!" We were able to get some really good pictures and made more memories than I can count. Gracie received so many gifts from personalized items to clothes to her moose and zee! We couldn't have asked for anything better :-)
