Wild Thyme Essentials PLUS A Giveaway!

As some of you know I have worked with the lovely Melanie and her wonderful shop Wild Thyme Essentials before. She has the most amazing handmade soaps, lotions, and other wonderful goodies. I am so excited she wanted to work with me again to help promote her wonderful shop. She is truly a pleasure to work with and buy from and her products smell glorious. In fact, when I received her package I could smell the heaven inside before I even opened it. :-)

Melanie takes a lot of pride and dedication in her work. She makes sure that her products do not expose her customers or the environment to toxic substances. She uses mostly essential oils and natural colarants. Her soap leaves skin moisturized and keeps you feeling soft without all of the oiliness later.

Wild Thyme Essentials has so kindly offered to do ANOTHER Giveaway with you all! How lucky are we?? To enter simply follow the rafflecopter entries and a winner will be randomly chosen next week!

Good Luck to you all and Thank YOU Melanie for your yummy products that I can NOT resist.

Ink and Astor Pouch Review along with a special giveaway for YOU!

Hey guys! We have made it through another week, which also means a little closer to Christmas. YAY!

I haven't shared about my obsession with business cards have I? No. Pretty weird huh? But I see business cards as a way a shop owner, blogger, or whatever business you may have as a way to express yourself. I always ask my friends and shops to please give me a business card (or 2) so that I can have it on hand and keep up with everyone and everything I have done. It is easier for me to place a person with their business card. I have accumulated a nice stack of cards and recently received an amazingly unique pouch from Ink & Astor. I seriously fell in love with it the moment I saw it on Etsy. I was so thrilled when Kristen told me I could do this review and tell you all about her shop. Every single one of her pouches are different and handmade with tons of love.

Kristen is a Graphic Designer who lives in Milwaukee WI that totally made these pouches by accident! She was making towels and handkerchiefs for her family and friends and had so much fabric left over she decided to make these adorable pouches. I love how they are risen and sewed to stick out. Every. single. pouch she makes has their own personality with so much character. I of course have the owl. The quality of these pouches are great. They are thick and almost canvas like. The felt of the little critters is durable and sturdy. I can not tell you how much fun it was to work with Kristen, she is fast, easy to talk to and amazing at her craft.

How cute right???? Even the lining on the inside is beautiful. You can really tell Kristen puts her heart and soul into these pouches and all of her work. I think anyone would love to receive one of these for Christmas, Birthday, or a just because gift. Who doesn't need an extra pouch to keep them organized?

Kristen has so generously offered one of you your very own pouch! How awesome is that??

This peacock is BEAUTIFUL!! A winner will be chosen next week for one of you lucky people! GOOD LUCK! In the meantime head over to Ink & Astor and order you some goodies!

Black Friday Fun with a Giveaway!

I was not finically compensated for this post. I was given a basket of products. All thoughts and opinions are  my own.

What a busy day! If you are wondering, I did keep my word on not going out in the wee hours of black friday. I stayed home, slept in my bed, and did not even leave my house until 7:30 this morning. I got the children ready and we headed off to Raleigh. I was able to get the kids a few more things and knocked some other gifts out of the way without having to fight the madness. It was SUCH a busy day. I was so tired when I came home this evening!

After putting everything away I had to have a nice bath and lucky for me I had received a package from the lovely Wild Thyme Essentials. I first HAD to light my yummy gingerbread candle. The smell was unreal. All of Wild Thyme Essentials candles are soy and also pigment free, which helps the candle burn correctly and not clog the wick up.

This soap is fantastic! I love the tiny grains in it that make your skin so soft and silky smooth.

In my gift basket I also had a lotion stick. I love how Melanie (the shop owner) puts so much effort into making her products with natural ingredients. These lotion bars are perfect for my dry, tired feet after walking around the mall all day!

The chapsticks were amazing as well! I LOVE each and every one. I have 2 in my purse, one in my bathroom, and Gracie stole one. My lips are ALWAYS dry and these have healed them, they feel so much better. I am so thankful for this amazing basket and the opportunity to help Melanie promote her fabulous business and share with you all how much I enjoyed her products. You must see for yourself, and one lucky reader will have the chance too!! Melanie is giving away a 20.00 store credit :-) HOW AWESOME RIGHT?? Good Luck to you all!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Winter is among us.

First of all let me say a big congrats to Nikki Snapp!! Nikki won the adorable sign from our RoughSideUp Sign Giveaway! YAY!!

I don't know where all you guys live but here in North Carolina it is getting cold fast. I love Christmas and Thanksgiving and all that jazz but the cold is not my friend and one part of me that never seems to get warm enough is my hands. I have tried all sorts of mittens but they just are not practical. Let's be honest when you are all bundled up and have your little mittens on and you get an important text or email, it is annoying. You have to take your mitten off just to respond. These fingerless crocheted gloves are P.E.R.F.E.C.T for me! I can be outside all warm and cozy and still be able to function. YAY!

You would think your fingers would get chilly still being exposed, but surprisingly they do not. The thickness of the glove keeps your hands so warm. I am actually looking forward to going to the Christmas Parade this year because I know my hands will be warm and I will also still be able to take plenty of photos without having to rip my gloves off every five minutes. Not to mention, how adorable are these gloves?! I just love them! The little crocheted flower on top of each one adds SO much character.

Cathy over at Red Barn Products89 is a pleasure to work with. She is quick, efficient, and very talented. In fact, Gracie loves my new gloves so much she told me they are to fancy for me and that she must have them. I have had to steal them from her repeatedly because she refuses to take them off. Cathy is beyond kind and to show you, she is giving away a pair of her beautiful fingerless gloves to one of my lucky readers! The winner will be able to chose their own color combo :-)
Shoot over to her shop and show her some love.

Whooooo's Ready for Another Giveaway?

Yesterday when I received my package from Erin I was so excited! She makes these adorable wooden signs with the cutest sayings and pictures on them. When I came across her site I was thrilled because of course I fell for the owls immediately, I just had a hard time deciding which one I wanted. ALL of her products are so unique and that's what I like.

I am the type of person who doesn't want what everyone else has, and these wooden handpainted signs are just that. They have so much character and Erin is super easy to work with. She customizes all of her signs to your liking and her prices are DIRT cheap. She is super talented and I hope you will check out her Facebook and Etsy shop. I guarantee you will have a hard time choosing just one!

Rough Side Up was kind enough to not only send me a sign to share with you all, BUT she also offered one that is up for grabs! Yay for Giveaways and handmade shops!

How adorable is this "Welcome to our home" sign. I LOVE it. In fact, I may just keep it for myself as well :-) Only kidding....maybe. All you have to do to enter this giveaway is follow the directions below in the Rafflecopter. I will announce the winner next week!

My Very First Giveaway!

I am BEYOND thrilled to tell you about our very first Giveaway!

I teamed up with Jennifer to share her amazing products. Let me tell you this girl is talented. Like for real, she has mad skills. She is an amazing custom bag designer, along with her many other handmade goodies. With the holidays coming up head over and check out her Etsy shop here.

Jennifer contacted me and wanted to do a product review on a custom bag of my choosing...how lucky am I right? I of course picked owls and this awesome lady had it ready in THREE days ya'll. YES. Three. Days. Now don't quote me on this because when she starts getting bombarded with orders don't say I said it would be ready in three days BUT this chick has her ducks in a row. When you tell her what you want, she gets right on it and stays in contact keeping you up to date with her progess and I don't know about you, but I LOVE that. There are so many times I have ordered something only for me to see no emails or responses on my order. Jennifer is nothing like that, she has such an incredible heart and puts her all in her products.

When I received my bag yesterday I about had a small panic attack because it was perfect. The fabric she picked out for me was to the T and it was made with quality. The bag is thick and sturdy and I know I can carry tons in there without it ripping or getting torn up. The prices on her items are extremely  reasonable, especially after observing my bag closely. You guys must order from this amazing girl!

With all that being said, it's Giveaway time! YAY! One of you lucky readers will win this amazing custom pleated tote/purse! Follow the entries and we will have a winner posted next Friday (November 15)! Good Luck to you ALL and Big Thanks to Jennifer for allowing me to do this Giveaway!

This is an unpaid giveaway. I was sent a SouthernPrideSewing Tote in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own and not influenced in any way. The winner of this giveaway will have a choice between this fabric above and two other choices. We will announce winner next Friday and email winner that day. Thanks in advance.
